Special Agent Bobby Kirby with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Inspector General is going to introduce the fraud community to the US Dept of Veterans Affairs, OIG, CID which is not well known but useful to those with veterans benefits or those who are investigating fraud involving Veterans benefits.  This will include how and when they should be contacted and he will discuss some notable cases to highlight their services to the fraud community. 

Speaker Bio:

SA Bobby Kirby began his professional career in banking and left after ten years as Assistant Vice President/Data Processing Officer to become a Special Agent (SA) with the United States Secret Service. In September 2008, he transferred to the VA OIG where he remains today. Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Economics from Francis Marion University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina.

SA Kirby serves as the Mid-Atlantic Field Office Fitness Coordinator and a Digital First Responder. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and also serves as Vice-President of the SC Chapter of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA).
